Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop for November. This month's theme is Homemade Holidays. When I saw this theme, I immediately thought about gifts. I love to make homemade gifts for they are one of a kind and cherished by those that receive them. One of my favorite things to make is a frame as I find it easy to create a scene. This one was inspired by a painting I saw at a craft fair yesterday.
I used the Santa's Sleigh bundle as a start. I layered Garden Green, Always Artichoke & a Warmth & Cheer dsp pine tree on my Soft Sky background embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. I added the reindeer. As an afterthought, I wish I would have put a bow or the wreath from the bundle around his neck. The reindeer is prancing on Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper.
Then I used the Snow Place stamp set with the coordinating Snow Friends framelits to add the cute little snowmen. I added a greeting from the Tin of Tags stamp set to finish it off. Do you wish you were getting this frame? Why not make one of your own!
Tomorrow is a BIG day - the start of the Online Extravaganza from Stampin' Up! ONE DAY Only deals on Monday, November 21 and November 28. Check out the deals here and be sure and watch my blog for inspiration and updates!
